I'm saving up for a new MacBook Pro. It's tempting to buy a cheaper computer, mostly because I can get it sooner – but I want one with good enough specs that it will last a couple of years. The last time I bought a laptop was 6 years ago, so I expect to keep using my next laptop well past the "expected" life.
